1. Agreement

By using Hourdesk you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We will update the effective date when these Terms change.

2. Who operates the site

Hourdesk is operated by AECT Services (contact: [email protected]).

3. Description of service

We provide free online calculators and utilities for work hours, pay estimates, and related business math. Use of the site does not create a professional relationship. We are not a payroll provider, tax adviser, or employer. Tools may change, be added or removed, and availability is not guaranteed.

4. No accounts

Core tools work without registration. Optional local browser storage is under your control; you may clear it anytime.

5. Acceptable use

Use the site for personal and lawful business purposes. Prohibited activities include:

  • Abusive scraping or automated abuse
  • Reverse engineering to republish bulk content as a competing product
  • Malware, interference, or circumventing consent or ads
  • Misrepresenting affiliation with Hourdesk or AECT Services

6. Calculator results — disclaimers

  • Results are estimates for planning, based on the data and settings you enter. Verify important figures with your employer, contract, or a professional adviser.
  • Results are not legal, tax, payroll, or employment advice.
  • Results are not a guarantee of pay, hours owed, or compliance with labor laws.
  • We do not warrant accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Intellectual property

Site content, branding, software, and design are owned by AECT Services or licensors. You receive a limited license to use the site as intended. Do not copy or scrape bulk content for a competing product without permission. You retain rights to data you enter; calculations run client-side and generally do not require a content license to us.

8. Third-party services and links

When enabled, the site may load Google Analytics and/or Google AdSense (and may use affiliate links later). Those services have their own terms. We do not control external sites and do not endorse them unless we say so. Cookie choices are under the Privacy Policy and Cookie settings — using the site is not consent to non-essential cookies.

9. Privacy

The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference. Cookie use is described there and on Cookie settings.

10. Limitation of liability

The site is free of charge. You use the calculators at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for use of the site or its calculators, including for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; lost profits or lost data; or any decisions, payroll errors, employment disputes, or other outcomes based on estimates. Some laws do not allow certain liability limits. Where that is true, those limits do not apply — and only to that extent.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify AECT Services against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your violation of these Terms.

12. Access

We may block or rate-limit access if we detect abuse or if the law requires it. There is no user account on this site.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in the Philippines have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you mandatory rights to bring claims elsewhere. You may contact us informally before litigation using the details below.

14. Severability, entire agreement, assignment

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement for site use. We may assign these Terms as part of a reorganization or sale.
